Traditional lily blocks are all easily pieced with those wonderful 2 1/2" strips, combine with a little simple applique and you have your own little slice of heaven! Pattern includes special hints on utilizing Jelly rolls and working with any group of 2 1/2" strips, special tips on bias tape makers for the stems, and simple starch method applique for the leaves. Pattern includes instructions for making a 58 1/2" x 70 1/2" quilt. Uses one Jelly roll of 2 1/2" strips, plus various coordinating fabrics for applique, sashing, binding and backing.
